WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP

Permanent makeup started in the Orient over 30 years ago. Permanent makeup has been very popular in the U.S. for the last 15 years. It is a field best suited for artists who have a more coherent sense and intuition of what a women desires.

Micro pigmentation (specialized form of tattooing) is a process where cosmetic grade pigments are injected into the dermal layer of the skin to permanently re-pigment, define and enhance areas of the skin’s surface.

REASONS FOR HAVING PERMANENT MAKEUP

  • Natural looking alternative to your daily makeup
  • Saves time and money
  • Look your best at all times
  • Enhances your natural beauty
  • Accentuates, corrects, or reshapes lips
  • Corrects uneven eyebrows
  • Fills in brows where hairs were lost
  • Creates designer eyebrows
  • Camouflages scars
  • Re-pigmentation of areola scar

BENEFITS INDIVIDUALS WITH…

  • Busy professionals who need to look their best at all times
  • Active lifestyles
  • Contact lenses
  • Visual impairment
  • Allergies to conventional cosmetics
  • Little or no brow
  • Unsteady or arthritic hands
  • Sparse or light brows and lashes
  • Freedom from daily makeup application

IS IT SAFE

  • The equipment used for permanent makeup is specifically designed for the fine detail needed for implantation into the eyebrow, eyelid and lip area. The permanent makeup pen is lightweight and easy to hold, which makes it especially appropriate for delicate procedures.
  • Strict sanitation guidelines are followed in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control. Fresh pigments are used for your protection.
  • All equipment, most importantly, needles, needle chambers and needle covers are all factory sterilized and individually packaged and disposed of after each procedure. Chemical sterilization provides assurance that the equipment is free of microorganisms/bacteria.
  • If the area is kept clean and all aftercare instructions are followed, you shouldn’t have any problems.

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST

  • Once it is applied it will not wash off, smudge or smear.
  • Permanent makeup can last several years depending on your skin type and how well you care for it. Sun exposure breaks down color faster. Exfoliating treatments will also cause color to break down. If you are currently using exfoliating treatments, you should be careful to avoid the areas that have permanent makeup. Over time, your permanent make up can lighten and a touch up treatment may be needed.
